Ayurpedia exists to explain conditions and herbs in plain language, without overclaiming. This policy sets out how that content is written, reviewed and corrected.

Who writes and reviews

Every article is written by a qualified AYUSH practitioner and reviewed independently by a second medical reviewer before publication.

The author, reviewer and last-updated date are shown on every page.

What we will not publish

Guaranteed cures, miracle claims, or before-and-after promises.

Dosage instructions presented as a substitute for a consultation.

Content that discourages readers from seeking emergency or conventional medical care.

Sources

We cite classical texts (Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, Ashtanga Hridayam), the Ayurvedic Pharmacopoeia of India, and current guidance from the Ministry of AYUSH and WHO where relevant.

Review cycle and corrections

Articles are reviewed at least once every 24 months, or sooner when guidance changes.

If you spot an error, use the Report Problem link on the article. We respond to content reports within 7 working days.
