At Sanatan Ayurveda, our mission is to make authentic Ayurvedic health knowledge accessible to every Indian household. We believe that true healing begins with accurate information.
Our editorial team — comprising BAMS, MD Ayu, and PhD‑ qualified Vaidyas along with modern biomedical experts — ensures every article, herb profile, and remedy guide meets the highest standards of accuracy, authenticity, and compassionate guidance.
We strictly adhere to the Drugs & Magic Remedies Act, Ministry of AYUSH guidelines, and Classical Ayurvedic texts including the Charaka Samhita, Sushruta Samhita, and Ashtanga Hridayam.
“हिताहितं सुखं दुःखमायुस्तस्य हिताहितम् मानं च तच्च यत्रोक्तमायुर्वेदः स उच्यते”
— Charaka Samhita, Sutrasthana 1.41
“That which deals with auspicious and inauspicious life, happiness and sorrow of life, what is beneficial and what is not, and the measure of life – that is called Ayurveda.”
OUR PROCESS
Every piece of content on Sanatan Ayurveda passes through a rigorous creation and validation cycle
Our Vaidyas identify health topics grounded in classical Ayurvedic texts and cross-reference them with modern epidemiological need. Topics are validated against AYUSH guidelines and genuine user health queries.
Each content category – herb profiles, disease guides, Panchakarma articles, dietary advice – follows a predefined structure ensuring consistency, readability, and logical flow from classical understanding to practical application.
Writers with Ayurvedic and biomedical expertise create content referencing classified samhita, peer-reviewed journals, PMID, Scopus, AYUSH research portals, and WHO traditional medicine databases.
Every claim – whether from a classical text or a modern clinical study – is cited transparently. Shlokas include Sanskrit original, transliteration, and interpretation. Scientific citations follow standard academic formats.
Our expert panel of BAMS and MD Ayu Vaidyas reviews every article for clinical accuracy, safety implications, contraindications, and alignment with classical Ayurvedic principles before publication.
Editors ensure content is accessible to the general public without compromising scientific precision. We balance Sanskrit terminology with clear explanations, and verify originality with plagiarism detection tools.
Health knowledge evolves. We revisit and update our content every 6–12 months incorporating latest AYUSH research, new clinical trials, and reader feedback to ensure ongoing accuracy and relevance.
THE SANATAN DIFFERENCE
We bridge the ancient and the modern — honouring classical wisdom while meeting contemporary evidence standards

Every recommendation traces back to Charaka, Sushruta, Vagbhata or other recognised Ayurvedic samhitas.

We validate traditional knowledge against peer – reviewed clinical research and scientific studies.

All content strictly complies with Ministry of AYUSH guidelines and the Drugs & Magic Remedies Act.

We present balanced perspectives appropriate across Vata, Pitta, and Kapha constitutions.
CONTENT STANDARDS
The code of conduct that governs every word published on Sanatan Ayurveda
All Ayurvedic claims are sourced from recognised classical texts or validated clinical studies. We do not promote unverified folk remedies without appropriate disclaimers.
Editorial content is completely independent of our product catalogue. Our Vaidyas do not recommend Sanatan Ayurveda products within health content.
We strictly avoid stating that any herb, formulation, or practice "cures" or "treats" any disease. Content is educational and supportive in nature, not prescriptive.
Our content reflects Ayurveda's whole-person philosophy – body, mind, and spirit (Tridosha, Triguna) – not just symptomatic or reductionist perspectives.
We clearly advise readers to consult a qualified Vaidya before beginning any Ayurvedic regimen, especially for chronic conditions or pregnancy.
All content is original or properly attributed. Classical shlokas are sourced from authoritative editions. We do not plagiarise and actively check for duplication.
Mental wellness, fertility, chronic illness, and geriatric health are covered with deep empathy, cultural sensitivity, and without stigma or fear-based language.
Health information is marked with creation and last-reviewed dates. Outdated content is updated or clearly flagged as historical reference.
