How to verify your Medicines are Genuine

A good Ayurvedic medicine tells you who made it, when, and where. Here are simple checks you can do in a minute, whether you buy from us or anywhere else.

  1. Check the manufacturing licence number

    Every Ayurvedic medicine made in India must show the manufacturer's AYUSH licence number on the label. It is usually written as "Mfg. Lic. No." followed by the number. If it is missing, think twice.

  2. Look at the batch number and dates

    The pack should show a batch number, manufacturing date and expiry date. These should be clearly printed, not smudged, scratched or stuck over.

  3. Read the MRP and manufacturer details

    Look for the MRP (inclusive of all taxes), net quantity, and the manufacturer's name and full address. A real brand is happy to tell you where its product is made.

  4. Look for GMP certification

    Reputed manufacturers carry a GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) mark or mention it on the pack. It shows the product is made under quality-controlled conditions.
